SUNDAY- With Sunny & Candy

Sunny and his lady fair Candy!

These two remind me of the cat version of the lady and the tramp.

Such cute cuddly creatures...

PURRfectly relaxed...

On a snuggly Sunday!

I just want to say I've been visiting your blog daily, and all you cats get along so well! What is your secret? Because it's a secret that we THREE measly cats here don't know.

SPARKLE- FURst thanks for visiting and 2nd- Our first cat was an adult when she adopted us- she went to the Rainbow Bridge in June. Every other cat we had was an innocent kitten when I brought them home- so the loving has always been there. Sunny and Moony are littermates. Then came FURBY and I don't think anyone ever even hissed at him... He was adorable! Then came Candy and they all adored their Maine Coon Princess... group cuddle piles from the beginning. Then came Tommy and Candy recognized him as one of the cats from the cattery and mothered him. JOY was Tommy's darling. Then Joy was bred under our roof and Pride, Mac, Lovey, Peace ran around after their first shots with the pack and were kitty-sitted by all. Sunny watched Pride, Candy watched Peace, Tommy watched Mac and Furby watched Lovey...when momma Joy was busy or napping. The dynamics were/are amazing. I have followed all of the multiple cat rules... cat trees- vertical structures in every room, many litterboxes, food in several locations. I think everyone feels loved by us. Several of the cats favor Randy and several me. We are home most of the time- retired. It works! We are 5 boys and 2 girls now. My sister has 3 girls and they really don't bother with each other that much. Hope that begins to answer our getting along so well! Another good point is Sunny, Moony & Furby are all maternal brothers-biologically and our 4 Maine Coons are all related as well. XO

It's funny that they snuggle together but they don't really look at each other -- they're both facing in opposite directions.

Maybe they're just keeping a watch out for anyone else who might want to intrude on their lovefest!
