MOONday

Moony had his teeth cleaned and 3 teeth extracted on Friday.
Poor guy can't seem to get the hang of eating and drinking.
He had this procedure done 5 years ago and was OK.
Randy even bought him meat baby food.
He's only eaten a tiny bit of that.
We took him back to the vet on Saturday and he gave him fluids.
Hold a good thought that he'll start eating again.
I'm sure he will once his mouth feels better.

We hope you feel better soon, Moony! Nicki had 8 teeth removed at once, and Derry had 9 removed at one time, and even that didn't keep them away from their food. LOL.

Oh, poor little guy! He's having a real hard time of it lately. I think you're right that when his mouth feels better, his appetite will increase.

If you can find baby ham meat, that is practically irrestible. Or maybe you could mush up some tuna.

I'm definitely pulling for Moony to feel better soon. What a traumatic experience for him (and you, from the sound of it)!

oh no! poor little guy! hope he feels better soon and starts eating! when my cats' appetite decreased when they were sick, I tried adding tuna "water" or clam juice to their canned food (didn't work with the one who didn't like fish!) or even just adding just a bit of water to the canned food and warming it up a bit in the micro-wave. then there was force feeding (just a bit on your finger then on the back of their tongue), but that was when nothing else worked and they really needed to start eating again. having a kitty who doesn't eat is a real bummer, hope he's at it soon!

Glad to know that Moony's eating again and is on the mend.

Poor Candy -- first with the birthday hats, and now this! She sure is one patient kitty. If she'll wear that contraption, maybe she'd wear a dress!

All of your kitties are 100 PURR cent true blue American, and it's great to see them celebrate it.
