Christmas Eve- Knitted Cat Blanket

My friend Pam has been my friend since the day we
boarded the Kindergarten bus together in September of 1959.

She knitted this cat pattern patch-work blanket for me and the kitties with a lot of her left over yarn from other projects.

I put it on the bed and Joy just jumped for joy on it.

You can see the pattern in this photo.

Pride looks pretty on pink.

Joy is lovely on orange.

Furby can cover 6 squares.  There are 25 in all.
So much work and love went into this.
Thank you Pam- we all love it!

That is a work of art and love. WE know you will cherish it! And so will the kitties! I attempted to learn to knit and failed. My Mom could turn out the most beautiful sweaters!

Merry Christmas!
