Christmas Eve- Knitted Cat Blanket

My friend Pam has been my friend since the day we
boarded the Kindergarten bus together in September of 1959.

She knitted this cat pattern patch-work blanket for me and the kitties with a lot of her left over yarn from other projects.

I put it on the bed and Joy just jumped for joy on it.

You can see the pattern in this photo.

Pride looks pretty on pink.

Joy is lovely on orange.

Furby can cover 6 squares.  There are 25 in all.
So much work and love went into this.
Thank you Pam- we all love it!

FURiday-Christmas Eve...

Today's blog post comes to you from Mason's house...
Mason our grandson will be 4 in January...
Jackie our granddog was 9 in June...

The kitties sent Jackie- the Chollie- part Chow/part Collie
this great squeaky chicken and she really loved it!

Mason had a wonderful time playing with Jackie.

Jackie says... Thanks Kitties!  I love it!
