Thankful for the Sunflower and the Moon

Look at how big Sunny's Memorial Sunflower is

and above it you can see the Moon!

The cats just sit there by it and admire it.

I'm guessing it will grow about another foot tall.

The head of it is above the leaves now!

It will be fun when the birds come to get the seed.

Ah the circle of life... I am thankful for the time I 

had with my wonderful Sunshine-Kitty.

We are so grateful that Moonlight-Kitty is doing well.

We will hopefully have many more years with him.

MOONY'S Mystery

Moony let us in on a very special secret...

Sunny has come back to us as the sunflower outside our window.

 I have a cat shaped plaque I am going to paint to 

look just like Sunny and this sunflower will be 

his memorial... 

I may even sprinkle some of his ashes around it...

How absolutely PURRfect that Sunny should be a sunflower.

SUNDAY- Sentimentality

Not a day goes by that I don't think of our Puffy & Sunny.

Moony had a rough week. 

He sure could have used some Sunny love.

Gone but still very much alive in my heart.  

Sunny's warmth was always there and we all basked in it!

This is one of my favorite photos of them together... 

Even now when I look at Moony asleep... 

I see where Sunny would have fit in.

It's April.  It's Spring. Why is it still so cold?  

SUNDAY- New Stuff

Mom got a new bedspread- we are testing it for comfortableness,

and for how well it works as a photo backdrop!

Sunny looks lovely against these colors.

It enhances Tommy's blue-gray fur and green eyes.

This is the biggie- the old Maytag circa 1984 died last Sunday.

PURRSday- Springtime Snow

We woke up yesterday morning to a blanket of white again!

Moony decided it was too cold for him and high tailed it

back to the heater in the kitchen!

Sunny, Furby & Tommy think it's kind of cool!

The snow actually came in through the screens.

Snow snow go away don't come back until December...

I feel so sorry for the robins who were looking pretty confused!
