Last Halloween we celebrated Puffy's 13th Birthday...
We had no idea we wouldn't celebrate a 14th...
She could have been much older than 13 or 14...
She was a stray who chose us as her PURRsons in October of 97.
Her age was an estimate and only she knew her real birthdate.
Since she was a black cat- Halloween was her default birthday!
This was Puffy's window... every morning we had to open it
no matter what the weather...and if we didn't... Joy got it!
Puffy was our Halloween Kitty... we'd have the neighborhood kids
say "Happy Birthday Puff-Kitty" rather than "Trick or Treat"
to collect candy from our house...
She'd sit there quite proudly and accept their good wishes!
She always mugged it up for her special holiday photos!
This is Puffy's special oranament her Auntie Gail bought her!
So on this first Halloween we spend without our beautiful black cat...
We remember how she worked her black magic on us and
changed us from people into PURRsons!
In our hearts and minds you will be forever young.
That stray kitty who wormed her way into our hearts.

THanks for sharing those memories and lovely pics with us, she really was a stunner of a black cat. I reckon they are good luck charms, my boy Spider sure is.
What a great way to honor Puff-Kitty! Happy Halloween!

Lovely tribute to Puff kitty - Happy Halloween.
It's so nice to see pictures of Puff Kitty again! I'm sure Hallowe'en will always be her day in your house, and that the memories of her will keep you warm.
She's been raised to a mythical status, I think. Larger than in life.
I must say, there was very little useful information in this post, but I did learn a few things. Thanks.
I don't think it's up to anyone to judge what people's posts should be about. Why not allow everyone to just say what they want (in designated threads, ofcourse)?
I'm just wondering, is it possible to take up blogging without any technical experience? Can I blog from MS Word?
It's actually a pretty funny story what happened after I drank mushroom tea. I started posting random comments.
